Why SPARTS

Why Families Love Us

  • Certified Seattle Public Schools Educators

All three SPARTS staff members are certified SPS teachers — not college students or seasonal hires. Mr. Kellum, Mx. Emory, and Ms. Nuutinen bring real classroom expertise, years of experience working with K–6 students, and a genuine passion for making learning feel like play. All staff are CPR certified and have completed background checks — because every child's safety comes first.

  • Small Groups, Big Impact

We keep camper groups intentionally small so every child gets personal attention. No lost kids in the crowd — just a warm, inclusive community where every child finds meaningful connections, new friends, and room to shine.

  • Three Activities Every Single Day

Unlike camps that focus on just one thing, every SPARTS day blends Sports, Arts, and Science — so whether your child is an athlete, an artist, or a budding engineer, they'll find their thing — and build real problem-solving skills along the way.

  • Three Unique Weeks — Never Repetitive

Each week has a completely different science theme, so kids can attend multiple weeks and have a brand new experience every time. Many of our families sign up for all three!

  • Need-Based Scholarships Available

We believe every child deserves an incredible summer. Limited scholarships are available first-come, first-served — email connect.active4life@gmail.com to inquire.

  • Right at Adams Elementary

A safe, familiar school environment your family already knows and trusts. Drop-off 9:00–9:15 AM, pick-up 3:00 PM daily — right on the playground.

“My kids loved SPARTS camp! There is a great balance of activities to keep their bodies moving (PE) and engage their minds (science and art). The teachers switch up the activities and theme each week so campers can join multiple weeks and it still feels new. My kids can't wait to go next year.”
